How long glandular fever lasts
You should feel better inside 2 to three weeks. some human beings may feel extremely tired for months.
Try and gradually increase your activity whilst your strength starts to return again.
Glandular fever can cause your spleen to swell. For the first month, avoid sports activities or activities that might increase your chance of falling, as this may harm your spleen.
How to prevent glandular fever spreading
Glandular fever could be very infectious. It's spread via spit. You are infectious for as much as 7 weeks before you get signs and symptoms.
You could go back to school or work as soon as you begin to feel better.
To stop glandular fever spreading:

• Wash bedding and garments which could have spit on them
